Protein Flap Jacks
2 cups of oats
½ cup pumpkin seeds
½ cup dried cranberries
1 scoop The Good Stuff Organic Whey
2 tbsp water
2 tbsp The Good Stuff Organic Chia Seeds with 8 tbsp water
1 tsp cinnamon
These flap jacks are literally the best thing! We love nothing more than cooking up a batch on a Sunday night and nibbling them throughout the week!
Just be sure to keep them in an air tight container or they will go soggy.
Firstly heat the oven to 200 C. Then combine the chia seeds and water in a bowl and leave for 10 minutes, it should thicken up quite a lot as the seeds swell.
Then mix together the oats, pumpkin seeds, cranberries and cinnamon. To this mix add the coconut oil mixture and then lastly add the chia seeds.
Spread the mixture evenly into a greased baking tray and pop into the oven for 25 minutes or until it turns golden brown.
Leave the flap jacks in the tray to cool, then remove and cut into squares.
